Tom Cleverley: Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley praised his team's back line when conquering Newcastle United in the Premier League match yesterday (7/10).
As is known, managed to silence Newcastle United at the Sports Direct Arena by a score of 3-0.
"We all knew this would be a tough match," said Cleverley.
"Starting the way we did is fantastic, not just a goal but we played very well. I think it took them 20 minutes to compensate us and we were already 2-0 up and controlling the game. We hit them on the counter-attack and I think we dominate in the second half. "
"Far from home, a clean sheet will be very huge. Besides the success of Newcastle through the penalty box, four defenders and the goalkeeper was fantastic and well worth grabbing a clean sheet."
"We know we have a sharp striker in the team and we have players who can provide feedback from anywhere. Welbeck and Wazza (Rooney) are the two main scorers last season and they still have not scored a goal, so when all the players are united I'm sure we'll keep going. "
